WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT MONEY!
WHAT THE BIBLE ACTUALLY SAYS ABOUT MONEY:
The love of money is the root of all evil. It is the love of it, "you can not serve God and mammon."
[ Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.] Keep in mind this scripture,
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.]
Most go to Malachi chap 3 about tithing, give and it will be given unto you, pressed down shaken together and running over shall men give unto your bosom, and if you do not give you are cursed financially so it is a "though you have a hole in your pocket," and the money is for the "store house," in the temple to feed the poor.
[Malachi 3:8-12 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.
[curse as though you have a hole in your pocket, where you have robbed God in tithes and offerings, cursed with a curse, repeated
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe yourselves, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages, earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.”]
Your money is where your heart is, Proverbs, so what your money is spent on shows what/who you love!
Does your money go to God's work, showing your love for His work?
